The Art of Coffee.

So I'm back on this side of the Atlantic and the hunt for the best cup of coffee in Dublin begins....

Now, Dublin has some pretty big shoes to fill - I've had my fair share of amazing cups in Vancouver, coffee and beer are two things that British Columbians do brilliantly!

One day I was wandering around the Grand Canal Dock while Brewji was at a meeting and I stumbled across The Art of Coffee...

It's a cute little spot, right on the water and as soon as you walk in the delicious smell of roasted coffee beans hits you.

They have a glass display case just inside the door with lots of yummy looking sweet and savory treats, however no gluten free options and the folks behind the counter seemed to find it very amusing that I asked. Honestly when you can find allergen friendly food in every store these days and so much of the population suffers from coeliac disease or some form of intolerance their disregard and sniggering baffled me.

But the coffee... That's what I go for. It's delicious - really rich and flavourful. And man... Does it hit you! One small coffee kept me going for the rest of the afternoon.

If you are in the Docklands and in need of a good jolt it's worth checking out. Every time I go it seems to be quite busy but if you can grab a table it's a nice place to chill - good view and good coffee, though the service does suck a bit.

Brewji gives The Art of Coffee a losing-a-lot-of-points-for-attitude 5.5/10
I give The Art of Coffee  a get-some-gluten-free-treats 6.0/10
